Christian was born and raised in Queens, NY in a household with an interesting cultural dynamic; his American mother and Bajan-Jamaican father, both having different lifestyles, decided that for Chris it would be best for him to make his own choices in life and grow from them. “Growing up, I had to learn that your parents are learning you just as much as you’re learning life; so try to be more understanding that sometimes the knowledge that they bestow upon you may not be the correct path, it’s just the only route they knew” Chris shared. He was fortunately allowed to make his own mistakes and learn his own lessons, which ultimately gave way to him finding his passions. One of these passions that Chris discovered was fashion photography and modeling; to Chris, this was an interesting way to talk about a person’s character; your body is the canvas and your clothes essentially is the painting. His charisma really encouraged him to show everyone his personality in front of the camera, and this is an attitude that he sought to encourage in others. This is why it impacts Chris quite a bit seeing the economic and social disparity in fellow black men and women. He believes that if he could others overcome some of their financial issues that they can be liberated from this widening economic gap. As a result, Chris sought to dedicate his time to help others improve their credit score or develop good credit; he is currently in the process of formally launching his own website as well.
